Mrs. Nearor's Classroom Rules
1. Be prepared. Every day bring your necessary supplies. You should always have your textbooks, notebooks, pencils/pens, paper, etc. when you enter our classroom. If you come to class without your required supplies, you have two options. 1st option: A cost for pencils and paper will be collected. 2nd option: You will receive a zero for a daily grade each day that you are not prepared for class.
2. Show respect. You must show respect for everyone in the classroom (yourself included) at all times. Please keep your hands, feet, and objects to yourself. Treat your fellow students as you want to be treated. You must respect your teacher by responding with “yes mam” and “no mam” when addressed.
3. Speak appropriately. Talking is never allowed while I am talking. When speaking is allowed in class, always raise your hand, use words that are not offensive, and maintain the appropriate volume. Do not interrupt.
4. Follow all classroom procedures and those rules outlined by the Covington County Schools System and Red Level High School. Classroom procedures are covered on a separate handout. The CCSS has provided a student handbook containing rules and regulations anticipating your compliance. A signed acknowledgement by the student, teacher, and parent will be kept on file in the classroom.
